#Not1More Deportation

Three Deportations Obama Could Stop Right Now

Last week President Obama ordered a review of the deportation policies to explore changes that could be made to ease the suffering of immigrant families. But our families can’t wait.  Just this week, there are 3 people who could be deported away from their families and their communities, while the President mulls over his next steps:

1. Edgar is a New Orleans father with no criminal record, who could be deported this Friday, even though he has a pending court, being denied his right to due process.

2. Jose Luis from Connecticut has a 10-month old son who has a heart condition, no criminal record, and could be ordered deported at court this Thursday. He has already been denied prosecutorial discretion once.

3. Israel has been detained at a Pennsylvania detention center, he has lived in the U.S. for over 10 years, and is a small business owner. Last month, he was part of a hunger strike meant to bring attention to the deportaitons. He could be deported at any time.

While President Obama awaits the results of this review, Edgar, Jose and Israel need him to take action right now.

Please sign each of their petitions and make a call to the ICE office in Washington D.C. at 202-732-3000 and ask that their deportations be stopped. Thank you

Thank you,

P.S. ICE might tell you it is the wrong number or try to redirect you. Tell them you are not looking for information, you want to speak to Acting Director Ragsdale and leave a message about these three cases.
