Arnulfo Mercado-Mercado (A205-281-563) was told by his attorney that he had to voluntary depart by September 10, 2014. Instead of abandoning his family, Arnulfo has decided to remain in the United States and fight his deportation.
Arnulfo is the sole provider for his wife, his daughter Camila, age 21, his granddaughter Camila, age 2, and his daughter Alejandra, a student a Olive-Harvey College. He’s a father of two DACA recipients and grandfather of two U.S. citizens.
“I cannot bare the idea of losing my father… Please give my family an opportunity to stay together, an opportunity to be a family… an opportunity to have my daughter grow with her grandfather by her side.” -Camila, Arnulfo’s daughter
Arnulfo is needed by his family in the United States, please sign to tell Chicago ICE Director Wong: Don’t deport the father of two DACA recipients! Stop Arnulfo’s deportation!
